ERASMUS+ KA1 TRAINING COURSES
ORGANIZED BY EDU-KEY TRAINING CENTRE
Innovative short Erasmus+ courses for Teachers and Educational providers for the Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals
All European professionals in education and training have the possibility to participate in European training courses.
Such courses are composed of participants from many countries and, in addition to interesting content, they bring an inspiring European dimension to the training. In the new European Erasmus+ Programme participation at training courses is called mobility - Key Action 1 (KA1). Application to the National EU Agency for EU funding in order to send staff to training courses is made by the school/institution, not by individuals.
What is Erasmus + KA1? Does this support mobility staff training programmes abroad?
The Erasmus + programme has replaced the EU LLP programme and will run from 2014 -2020. The programme continues to support and offer grants for Comenius and Grundtvig staff mobility training for staff, teachers and professionals in the education sector.
Heads of Schools are able to organise several mobility activities, allowing many individuals (staff) to attend Mobility Training courses abroad over a period of one or two years through one grant application.
Applying for funding for training under Erasmus +
Under the Erasmus + it will be organisations (schools, colleges, institutions, etc) and not individuals who will apply for the mobility training funding.
Before applying applicants (schools, colleges, institutions, etc.) must follow 3 steps to apply for funding for Staff Mobility Training Programmes taking place as from 1 July 2015:
1. The school, college, university or institute must first register in the Unique Registration Facility (URF). The ECAS User Manual.PDF explains the necessary steps for obtaining a URF.
2. Once registered the school will obtain a PIC (Personal Identification Code) number.
3. The school, college, university or institute must then submit the application to the National Agency. The application must be under Key Action 1 ( Mobility of individuals in the field of education, training and youth)
Applications can be downloaded from your National Agencies’ websites.
We are providing guidance and support on the application process.
